TRANCE, the legendary German band is back with their new album ‘Metal Forces’. Founded in 1977 from singer Lothar Antoni and guitarist Markus Berger as TRIBUT and changed the name into TRANCE in 1979. That’s when the journey began! They are one of the oldest Heavy Metal bands in Germany and established this style in Germany together with SCORPIONS and ACCEPT. The producer of these German metal flagships prevented the band from a possible big career by claiming the rights of the band name for example. Rumours were spread that it was planned to sign, control and keep as many promising German bands small as possible to protect his two premium products.

The new studio-album is a worth to effort. The band still has a great old school spirit with some great Heavy Metal anthems such as the title tune: Metal Forces. Classic well-played headbanging music with raging guitars and heavy bass / drums and good melodies. The music is quite melodic and the young Dutch vocalist Nick Holleman suits perfect with his great voice to this so called traditional Euro Heavy Metal. Trance still nails the place after almost  a half century playing heavy music!
