It has been a long, long time ago since I first (and last) time from Dutch/Belgien Gotmoor when they were included on the Greek ISO666 label sampler back in 2003. Two demos were released in the glorious 90´s, a compilation with both demos and a regular album followed after the Millennium. There has been a long break now since the last release, the debut album “Pain Provider” in 2005! But Gotmoor are back with a vengeance! There are nine new tracks included here, full of furious riffs and fast blastbeats. Most of the stuff reminds me on Scandinavian Black Metal from the 90´s, but also on Dutch cult hordes like Funeral Winds, Inferi and Liar Of Golgatha. But there are also few melodic, hymnic vocal melodies far from beauty in “Aradia´s Geheim” and “Eibor Neevik” with a disturbing, sinister atmosphere. The transparent production delivers the cold atmosphere perfectly. This album is released on CD and vinyl and should satisfy every traditional Black Metal warrior.
