After 17 years of silence the Dutch Rockers from Highway Chile strike back. The band from the Rotterdam region is active since the year 1980 and released several classics in the 80’s. I still play those regular in my living room!
Now the band is back with a brand-new studio album. The music sounds melodic, especially through Stan Verbraak’s clean voice. The man can still do it. The album includes eight dynamic heavy rock songs in the NWOBHM/AOR spirit. All with good instrumental parts, some raging guitars and a top-notch production, fresh but still with an old school feeling. The perfect crossroad for the old time, Helloise and Highway Chile fans out there!
Highway Chile are: founding member Martin Mens on guitars, original member Ben Blaauw on guitars, former Helloïse vocalist Stan Verbraak, former Helloïse bass player Marchell Remeeus, and all-time fan Jaimy Quite on drums.
