Wow, I always wonder where Headbangers Records from The Netherlands discover all those forgotten gems! This time it´s all about Nick Fury from Wisconsin, USA, who were already founded back in the 1970´s. From 1983 on they were active under the band name Nick Fury, but I don´t know how long they were active then. This recording is the only one that ever appeared from the band. It´s from 1984, and it seems that it has never been released before because there´s nothing to find about it in the internet. It´s hard to tell why because this album is really great! This is pure US Metal in its purest form, like it was played during this era. It´s a cool mix between bands like Liege Lord, Tyrant, Savage Grace, Lizzy Borden and Keel, with pounding uptempo and some Hard Rock-like refrains as well. But the album titles describes the music perfectly, in my opinion. The sound recording is a little but rough, so I guess that it was just a demo in album length. I don´t know… But every true US Metal fan should really put this one into his private collection!
