Before I started listening to Running Like An Outlaw I had never heard of Angeles as the name of a metal band. Well, they are the epitome of a hair/party metal band. They have been around since 1977 and this is their fifteenth (yes, 15^th!) album to date.

So that gets me wondering why this is the first time I encounter them. Well, it’s quite easy; the other bands surpassed them in music quality. To me this sounds like Rob Zombie doing a party album after a good night out. It’s very simple, absolutely energetic and obviously enchanting, but as shallow as Donald Trump’s hairdo.

But if this music scene is exactly what you crave you probably have heard of Angeles before. If you haven’t, have a good listen, you might like what you hear. You can buy the physical cd on the website of the record company.
