Darkfall was formed back in the mid 90ies, these maniacs from Austria are playing OSDM with a very dark and melodic touch. Sometimes the music sounds even more Black Metal to me. Raging guitars, straight into your face bass and drums and brutal vocal parts. Wasn’t familiar with this band, till my German friend Bine told me about them. All I can say, this band is pretty bad ass! Mortal Strike is also coming from Austria and was formed in 2009 and delivers good old school Thrash Metal with a good bunch of violent friendly fun! Nice split release, incl. own songs and a few cover tracks.
