Formed in Houston, Texas back in the year 1981. The 11th Studio album by the US Metal masters Helstar will be released Februari 26th, 2021 on the European Metal label Massacre Records. I was really happy to receive the press-kit and later the physical Limited edition 2-CD Digipack to give my honest opinion and wow this new album really nails! The music includes a wall of sound of thundering bass and drums and some melodic parts and great virtuous guitar solos. It’s the good compromises of speed and melodic what makes this band/release highly recommended for fans. Also James voice is still as good as it was decades ago, crystal clear and high-pitch without mercy. All tracks are very very good, and the covers of Accept – Restless And Wild, Black Sabbath – After All The Death and Sinner of Metal Gods Judas Priest are really really awesome! Another really great release by this American band that never forget it’s roots and who stick to the old school US Speed Power Metal sound from the eighties, all with balls and skills! KILLER!!!!!
