Skeletal Remains comes from CA, United States and was formed in 2011 and this is the bands fourth studio album. I know bandleader Chris Monroy since he played as a (16 year old), in the Thrash Metal band Fueled By Fire, and I booked their 2nd European show ever at Poppodium 013, together with Tjerk Maas from LoudNoise, Dynamo Metalfest, Into The Grave and more! Also SR I followed and booked several times in Tilburg, Eindhoven since their very early start (plus the guys stayed several times at my place), and all I can tell you. Great guys and they are the very best in Old School Death Metal. Perfect blend with the best elements of old school: Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Pestilence, Asphyx, Morbid Angel, and the mighty Death. Sounds like an Old School Tampa Florida, Scott Burns release, from the late 80ies or early 90ies! Chuck Schuldiner (RIP) would be proud if he would hear this! Best OSDM band in the business, just amazing, like a time machine back to my youth!
