Headbangers Records from Tilburg always rediscover forgotten bands, not only from The Netherlands! This underground act was based in Munich in the early 1980´s. Leather Mistress only recorded one demo tape with three tracks in 1983 which are all featured here. There is no bonus stuff included though, so I guess this was their only recording ever. When I saw the band name I thought of female-fronted metal, but that´s not the truth. Here you get a simple mix of classic Hard Rock and Heavy Metal; pretty normal, nothing special, but nice to hear and never boring. This is cool party music to drink beer. Also, this recording has a great sound quality for an unknown demo. I feel the spirit of bands like Impact and Stranger from The Netherlands a little bit who were also both released by Headbangers Records, so I think this release makes sense. No must-have, but – as I already told you – nice to listen to!
