Shum is a Dutch fastcore/crustcore project from the Noord Brabant area, that was started in early 2022 by Corinne (Acrostichon), Isaak (Magnetron) and Johan (Malignant Tumour). I really like it, this because the music is powerful with a good bunch of variation, musically and vocal wise, think about a band like: Extreme Noise Terror. All in all, it sounds a bit like a mixture between Macabre, Nuclear Assault and the 80’s female fronted heavy metal band Acid. The tracks include social critical lyrics and have a good old punk vibe. Also the painted artwork looks great and suits perfectly.
