From Hamburg, Germany, Formed by Jutta Weinhold and Bubi after Zed Yago split up in 1990. On their eight full length studio album Velvet Viper continued with their traditional Heavy Power Metal sound! Very good songs, including one track in native German tongue, “Es kommt die zeit’’. Jutta has a DIO alike powerful and majestic female fronted voice and musical you can compare Velvet Viper with a band like Helloween. The album titled says everything, Nothing compares to Metal. Old School Metal with super melodies and great classical poetic and mythical themes.
